Revised Safeguarding standard
The Manchester safeguarding standard has recently been revised and approved in principle by both
the children and adults safeguarding boards.
You will note that the previous term "vulnerable adult" has been replaced by "adult(s) at risk".

Please bring the standard to the attention of all relevant staff in your organisations, which will include those providing safeguarding training and commissioning. We will ensure that the standard is reviewed annually.
